NATURE AS CHOREOGRAPHER
A short film with London-based dancer Cornelia Eriksson Burman on dance as a restorative practice and the importance of using nature in creative fields. The film invites both dancers and non-dancers to develope their self-relationship through connecting with the natural world.
Ecosomatic dance is a new area of study that links movement and healing with ecological consciousness. Dancers learn to pay attention to various signals and feelings from both inside and outside their bodies. Ecosomatic dancers work in both a bodily and embodied way.

Drifting Purposefully Exhibition /
London College of Communication
Nature as Choreographer shown on two portrait screens.
The exhibition explores the power of wandering through urban spaces without a defined route or destination, relying on our senses and emotions to guide us instead. The focus becomes the journey itself and what we might discover along the way – making space in our minds for unexpected encounters, sensory experiences or simply quiet reflection.
